Year(s)
Another year done, eh?
I found what appears to be a photo of me at the New Year’s Eve Party I went to not last year, but the year before.
And guess what? The kid’s been losing some weight.
Sure, holiday junk food has been trying to reverse this trend, but with the big new year’s resolution I’ve got coming up (no more schmoke), I think things are only going to get...

#nobetterthanyourrecord - We're Getting Closer
Did some more work this morning.
Early next week, aka early next year. Expect something you might have expected.
Also? Brock Lesnar lost, and he might just wind up on WWF on Monday night.

Trouble
The problem with trouble is that it stays with you. Trouble only exists as a lack of resolution. Trouble doesn’t unclench. You can press yourself to accept it, but trouble doesn’t like inaction. Trouble is a feats of strength-style test. Trouble can set you up. Only you can allow it to take you down. The worst kind of trouble is deeply rooted in the truth. It’s pesky, and that...
Even though it’s about 50% kids on this line, it’s a cooler group of people than on most lines.
Bizarre
Referring to the immediately previous post, Bizarre is not the right word to describe my 2011. I don’t have a hold on whatever the word for this last year is, yet. My goal is to have such a word in the next week.
Nothing
Aside from an expensive-assed year membership to Equinox or David Barton, there is nothing I want for the holidays. I didn’t ask for either. There’s nothing I could ask for right now, because there’s nothing I want that even my strongest wishes could get me.
This has been a truly bizarre year.
At this point I only ask for good health for me and mine.
2am on the edge of the verge of 2012.
I’m here for you my tumblr family.
I’ve had the most weird kind of year, and you all were there for me.
Most of you don’t know each other, but you’d love each other.
I do. Without question.

I need a new laptop, any advice?
It’s become glaringly obvious that I can’t keep my computer alive for much longer. A gentle tap to a corner of the base of my 08 MacBook Pro brought it to sleep mode. No idea why.
8 months out of warranty, this smacks of a warning that I am typing on borrowed time. So, to those of you who have recently acquired a Mac notebook, I’m curious as to your experiences.
Specifics: the...

– Myself, tonight. OOC this might sound weird, and it is probably incredibly vain to quote myself. This is just something that I don’t think I would have had at hand a year ago.
miramay asked: I KNOOOOWWWWWWW I mean, I know some people didn't like I Want To Believe, but I really really did! Way back when, rumor was that it'd be released in 2012 and was supposed to coincide with the End of the World date, like, something about that having to do with an alien invasion and such...

If all has gone according to plan.
Most people havn’t seen me in weeks, if not many months. Coworkers and family have, and a few select travelers from out of the state, but to those who are here in NYC year round, believe it’s more me than it is you.
It’s more about me and the recent push I’ve had to not keep cutting myself slack. Staying off Gchat, etc.

Following the stream of tonight’s #GodIsNotGreat hashtag on Twitter gives a perfect illustration of how to make a great (or evil) trending topic: it elicits a passionate response from people who get its context, and an equally passionate response, for totally different reasons, from people who don’t get its context.

What I Held Back, a post.
Expect a blog post in the near future on the above topic. It will go as in depth as I’m willing to go on the record with about my 2011. It won’t be up for longer than 24 hours.
Also, this thing needs a refresh. Or at least a sans serif.
